About this Project
I wanted to do my project on The University Star at Texas State University. I wanted to know about the visitor demographics of The University Star. As a reader of The University Star, I was curious to see what kind of devices other readers used when visiting their website. I was also interested to know what their top 10 landing pages were for the year. With help from their google analytics, I was able to collected their google analytic report from October 2015 - October 2016 and make their data interactive. From this data, The University Star can continue to write compelling stories, draw new viewers to their website, and use this data to successfully deliver news.
